What have we learnt about Japan today?

    Mount Fuji is a dormat volcano,
    75% of Japan is covered by volcanos,
    Japan is made out of four little islands four thousand little islands,
    There religion is Shinto and Bhuddhsim,
    Sushi and rice are there main food Japanese parents eat Sushi on special occasions and children eat for dinner or at lunch but for rice they eat it at any time even on special occasions.

  3. Japan is in the continent of Asia. 70% of Japan is made of mountains and volcanos. The money they use is called Yen. Children go to school Monday til Friday plus saturday mornings. Japan is made up of 4 main islands but has over 6000 smaller islands. By Lauren Cooms

Some intresting facts about Japan are: some people in Japan wear western style clothes,Mount Fuji is actually a volcanoe.Mount Fugi's last erruption was 300 years ago,Japanease school children wear hard hats to school just incase a volcanoe errupts,Childrens school in Japan starts at 8:30 but schools down in Europe start at 8:50,75%of Japan is mountain,People in Japan love McDonalds but they call it Ma-Ka-Do-Na-Ru-Do,The currency of Japan is Yen £1=124 Yen.The population is 124,000,000

  5. When Japanese children walk to school they wear hard helmets incase of a volcanic erruption. In Japan schools their lessons go on for 40-45 minutes. Also their lunchtimes go on for about 40 minutes and they add an extra 20 minutes on the end for outside playing. Japan children try to keep the school tidy because at 3.00pm they have to clean the whole school. Children give dinners out to the other children.
    In 2009 the population estimated was 127,078,679.

Here is some intresting facts about japan these people dont have normal lunch boxes they have black lunch boxes with diffrent conttainers in so the food can be seperated one of the most popular things in the lunch boxes was egg another popular food was sasugge these schools do not have cleaners and people to clean the school and serve them there dinner they have chrildren that do it for them at the end of the day they have to clean there hole school before being able to return home safely bye wearing hard hats they are able to get home safely they have to wear hard hats incase of a volcaneo erupsuion. there are thosunds of peoplle in japan they only have 30% of land to live on they build tall bullding so every body can have a home in a flat 70% of the land is mountins and volcanos thats why they only have 30% of land to live on incase of an erupsuon so no one will get heart or get killed or baddley injerd.   7. Today at school I lernt that the population of Japan is approxamatly 127,000,000 people!!!!!!!
    Did you know? that it is considered rude to blow your nose in public? and having fair skin is very,very beautiful.
    children have to walk to school wearing hard hats to protect them from anay floods or active volcaneo's such as Mount Fuji and "ect" I realy enjoy lerning all about Japan so I cant wait to find aout more throgh out the week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I learnt that monkeys like swimming in the cold pond and that the doors were made out of paper because they had no curtains lottixx
