The Bunyip

Kylie, meaning wood, gets up on a fine morning with her tribe and decides to go fishing near a lagoon. She wears a long dress covered in mud and she is bare footed her hair is shaggy, tangily and messy . And has a red hazel nut colour in her hair .

Kylie trotted to the lagoon because she wanted to go hunting for tasty pink salmon . She caught a salmon and then felt a hard tug and her fishing rod broke . Suddenly the ground started to shake , the water rippled and the bunyip appeared from the surface of the lake .Kylie ran into a dark , gloomy cave where tiny, black bats settled .

The bunyip slowly trotted on the green, sharp blades on the huge , mossy hills towards the dark gloomy cave the cave was quite like a maisonette .Kylie started to shake as no one was around !
Suddenly she started to scream as load as she could it was hurting the bunyips long scaly ears the bunyip ran back down to the hill where he bunyip lived . Then she reached the sticky lagoon . She did not no where the bunyip lived she could not see the bunyip anywhere but she didn’t not know that the bunyip lives in the lagoon she thought that he lived next to the lagoon . The lagoon started to pop bubbles kylie wasn’t afraid this time ! she new she could beat the bunyip but it wasn’t the bunyip it was little, tiny and slippery fish that where playing in the lagoon and having a lot of fun .

Suddenly the scaly bunyip appeared out of the sticky , hazelnut lagoon . Kylie & Joshua hade an idea they got a packet of matches they lite every single one up and threw them at the bunyip . But that did not work at all so they tried another packet of matches they lite them up again and threw the matches at the bunyip a match got caught on the bunyips scaly skin the bunyip was slowly fading away .

Kylie & Joshua was surprised they never thought that they where going to kill the bunyip . So they went back to the camp to celebrate their safe return with there tribe and never saw the bunyip again . And no one went near the lagoon just in case.
