Today the children have been writing Japanese Haiku.
Haiku are Japenese poems. They are special because they always have three lines. The first line contains 5 syllables, the second line contains 7 syllables
and the third line contains 5 syllables. Haikus use words to paint a picture.
Haikus don't use rhyming words. They are usually related to nature.

Well done everyone you did a great job on your Haiku poems!!!I loved doing the poems about all those interesting pictures we had to use! I would love to go to Japan to see mount Fuji because it looks stunning and it has a great view!! maybe one day!!!!!!
