I think that the Soroban will help with people who dont understand maths much and will help them improve there maths and the start of the Soroban is working out well this is a really good week but this Soroban is hard t make.
ReplyDeleteI think the Soroban would help Japanese children a lot with their maths homework! I have learnt how to use a Soroban and I think it is a great way to learn your maths!!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Japan has the 4th largest population in the world and there is only 35% of land to live on, the rest is mountains and volcanoes!
If you search YouTube Maisie you will find some amazing videos which show how quickly Japanese children, from a very young age, can add / subtract many numbers. It's phenomenal to watch.
DeleteI think that class 4 at Woodford Primary School have been very productive finding out lots of interesting facts about Japan and the people who live there.I am sure they will all agree that the lifestyle in Japan is very different to the way that we live in England,but children all over the World are the same and are able to learn about each others customs and lifestyles.It is great to see that all class 4 are working together and having fun while learning.I look forward to reading more blog.Well done class 4
ReplyDeleteI think year 4 have learnt some interesting facts and knowledge about japan, from looking at their posters they look like we took lots of time working on them!!! Go year 4!!!!!!!I hope we learn some more wonderful and maybe some bazar facts over the week!!
