THE BUNYIP

Kylie beaten bronze face turned quickly towards the scorching, yellow bright sun as she trekked slowly with her fishing basket and rod to the quiet, watery lake which she visited. It was far far away, in the Australian bush, surrounded by huge swaying cool bah trees, like towers, and giant, green ferns. Steel blue grey like a big lake.
As she settled carefully at the lakes warm edge suddenly she saw a huge shape coming towards her from the corner of her eye. Quickly something fierce and scary kidnaped Kylie Burnum Kylies friend was getting worried because kylie didn’t come back to the camp. So he went to look for her. He found her fishing tool by the lake he walked to the cave and crept in. He saw kylie being held captive by the Bunyip . He had to think of an idea to free her.
Just in time Burnum, turned fast and sprinted towards the surrounding dense forest. Out of the water the Bunyip was a rather slow, lumbering creature but he could flap his fluffy, furry wings to increase his fast running speed if he needed to. Burnum however, like his name was a great worrier and athlete and was soon safe in a circle of gnarled shadowy trees. There in the centre sat Kylie.
“You took your time, I thought you would never get here!” replied kylie terrified, kylie explained that lumery fears scary Bunyip had chased her from the deep lake, angry that she had been fishing his favoute silver fish. Every time she tried to escape the circle of shadowy trees seemed to close in and branches and branches like evil fingers. But Burnum had an idea.
The Bunyip was asleep so Burnum removed the flint from around his neck. And saved kylie from the cave by getting the key from the draw in the cave and unlocking it. And tried to remove the stone to get out of the cave and then went back to the camp.
In the morning the Bunyip , woke up and, found that kylie and Burnum had escaped from their cage and went back to the camp. But the Bunyip didn’t care because he didn’t want to have them in his cave anymore because they were mean. Back at the camp Kylie was sitting down with her friends and having fun eating marshmallows. Bunyip was sitting down eating mud that was his favoute food. He wasn’t having any fun at all Kylie and her friends were looking at the wonderful trees like towers and listening to the funky radio then they got dressed into costumes and had a party even one of them dressed up as Bunyip . Then they never saw the Bunyip again!!!!!!!!.
